    [Miami, FL — May 20, 2025]: beIN SPORTS, will broadcast the 2025 Taça de Portugal (Portuguese Cup) final between Lisbon’s Benfica and Sporting CP on Saturday May 25. Full live coverage will be available – in both English and Spanish – for fans across the United States and Canada on beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español.
    This year’s final is set to be an electrifying encounter with a potential league and cup double on offer in the coming weeks. Both teams are currently tied at the top of Liga Portugal – separated only by goal difference with just one match remaining – as the teams played out a 1-1 draw this weekend – before facing each other in the final of the Taça de Portugal.
    Benfica returns to the final under head coach Bruno Lage and are Portugal’s most successful club in the competition with 26 Taça de Portugal titles. The squad features a dynamic blend of experience and youth with Ángel Di María and Nicolas Otamendi – both FIFA World Cup winners with Argentina – and rising Norwegian star Andreas Schjelderup central to their campaign to date. Benfica will also feature in the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup – sharing a group with South American giants Boca Juniors later in the year.
    Sporting CP, with 17 Taça de Portugal titles, will be led by Rui Borges and arrive with strong form having won their last four matches and led by attacking stars Francisco Trincão and Viktor Gyökeres, whose clinical finishing has been a highlight all season.
