[Miami, FL — March 13, 2026]: Rising Guatemalan artist Sebas Bárcenas releases today his new single “Hoy Me Escojo a Mí,” a song that marks a new chapter in his artistic narrative. While his previous songs explored heartbreak and nostalgia, this release starts from a different place: the decision to choose yourself, even when it still hurts.

With a fresh production that blends cumbia pop with his signature futuristic urban pop sound, the track introduces a brighter energy without losing emotional depth. “Hoy Me Escojo a Mí” captures that moment when self-love stops being an abstract idea and becomes a real decision.

This song is about that point when you realize that continuing to idealize someone also means putting yourself in second place. Choosing myself meant accepting what I felt, but also deciding to move forward.
