[Miami, FL — June 25, 2026]: Sebas Bárcenas returns with “Cuántas Veces No,” a new single that finds the Guatemalan artist at one of the most defining moments of his career. Blending contemporary pop, subtle R&B influences, and nostalgic rock-driven guitars, the track showcases a natural evolution in his sound and a more mature side of his songwriting.
“Cuántas Veces No” is rooted in an experience that has become increasingly common in the social media era: watching someone else publicly receive everything you once asked for in private. Through honest and direct lyrics, Sebas explores the frustration of being part of a relationship that existed behind closed doors while someone else now occupies the place you always imagined.
I wrote this song about a year ago, and from the moment I started sharing snippets of it, I saw how many people connected with the story. At its core, it speaks to something we experience more often than we realize: relationships where the love, effort, or attention we give isn’t always reciprocated.

The release follows a period of artistic growth and reinvention for the singer-songwriter. Earlier this year, Sebas unveiled “Hoy Me Escojo a Mí,” a single that marked the beginning of a more intentional and personal chapter in his music. Now, with “Cuántas Veces No,” he continues expanding that conversation while exploring new sonic textures and further defining his place within the new wave of Latin pop.
The song also offers a glimpse into the music Sebas will be releasing as part of his highly anticipated debut album, DE LA ZONA 5 PARA EL MUNDO, a project inspired by the experiences, influences, and lessons that have shaped his journey thus far.
“Cuántas Veces No” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
