    beIN SPORTS expands its multi-sport event rights portfolio with Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games coverage across the U.S. and Canada

    3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories, competing across 10 sports, with 6 fully integrated Para sports

    [Miami/London — July 16, 2026]: beIN MEDIA GROUP (‘beIN’), the global sports, entertainment and media group, has secured a deal to broadcast the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games across the U.S. and Canada. Fans will be able to watch the event live via beIN’s flagship sports network, beIN SPORTS, across North America.

    Returning to Glasgow, following the highly successful 2014 edition, the event will take place from 23 July to 2 August 2026. The Games will feature approximately 3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories, competing across 10 sports, also hosting the largest program of para-sport in Commonwealth Games history, with 6 fully integrated Para sports, including Para Athletics, Para Swimming, Para Bowls, Para Track Cycling, Para Powerlifting, and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball. 
    • Thursday, July 23rd - Opening Ceremony: 3-5PM ET English Linear / beIN SPORTS CONNECT.
    • Friday, July 24th to Sunday, August 2nd: 8AM to 5:30PM ET: The best action every day live on English Linear and hour-long highlights show to wrap up the day.
    • Saturday, July 25th & Sunday 26th: 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM ET Spanish Linear. 
    • Monday, July 27th to Friday July 31st: 12:30 PM- 5PM ET Spanish Linear. 
    • Saturday, August 1st: 12:30 PM- 5:30 PM ET Spanish Linear. 
    • Sunday, August 2nd: 12: 30 PM – Spanish Linear. 
    Glasgow 2026 will be delivered through a streamlined and sustainable model that utilizes existing world-class venues and infrastructure across the city, setting a new benchmark for future editions of the Commonwealth Games. With full live broadcasts and daily highlight shows, beIN SPORTS subscribers will be able to catch every moment of the action.
