Puerto Rican producer, DJ and songwriter Fux Beat joins forces with Venezuelan artists Micro TDH and Jambene to present “Islita,” the third single from BQN, his debut album as an artist. The song invites listeners to escape the routine and give in to the desire and chemistry of a romantic encounter, continuing the alternative tropical exploration that defines this new chapter of his career.
Through the voices of Micro TDH and Jambene, “Islita” imagines a refuge far from worries and judgment, where attraction and the freedom to live in the moment drive the narrative. The release is accompanied by a visualizer filmed at the Ruins of the Punta Borinquen Lighthouse in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, a setting that connects directly to Fux Beat’s roots and the identity of the project.
“Islita” follows “Azúcar,” featuring Monsieur Periné and Rafa Pabón, and “Ayer Te Vi,” with Cimafunk and Tostao. All three singles are part of BQN, whose title references the airport code for Aguadilla, Fux Beat’s hometown. Conceived as a love letter to his roots, the album seeks to spotlight a lesser-known side of Puerto Rico through a sound that blends Caribbean influences with indie and alternative music.
“Islita” is available now on all digital platforms.
