The opening round features one of the continent’s most historic clubs, Alianza Lima, after their quarterfinal appearance in the 2025 Copa Sudamericana.

​The second stage of qualifying gets underway on February 17th and introduces additional heavyweights into the competition, including 2024 Copa Libertadores champions Botafogo and Ecuadorian powerhouse Barcelona SC, further raising the stakes as the road to the group stage intensifies.
