Farruko Expands His Electronic Sound with Steve Aoki and Alan Walker

Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and genre pioneer Farruko releases MADRID Remixes Bundle, a new project featuring remixes of his single “MADRID” alongside two of the most influential names in global electronic music: Steve Aoki and Alan Walker. The release further solidifies his position among the Latin artists who have successfully incorporated electronic music into their musical identity while connecting with global audiences.

Released at the end of the summer, "MADRID” made its world television debut during Farruko’s historic opening performance at Premios Juventud 2026, held in Marbella, Spain. That same night, the artist received the award for Best Dance Track for “YAPAQUE,” his collaboration with Steve Aoki and Greeicy, which also reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts.

This new release continues the trajectory of collaborations with both producers. In addition to “YAPAQUE,” Farruko previously joined forces with Aoki on “Aire” (2021), while his musical connection with Walker includes the international hit “On My Way” (2019), alongside Sabrina Carpenter, and “Old Habits” (2025), with Sofía Reyes.

From the global phenomenon of “Pepas” to his collaborations with some of electronic music’s most recognized producers, Farruko has shown that his exploration of the genre is not a passing trend, but part of a sustained artistic evolution. With MADRID Remixes Bundle, he continues building bridges between Latin music and the international electronic scene.
